COPE-Project – Webinar on 29 November 2024
The COPE webinar will discuss community-based and participatory research in the African context and invites you to exciting lectures and a panel discussion.
The webinar “Implementing Community-based Participatory Research in African Settings: What Works?” focuses on the importance of participatory approaches, where those who are directly affected are active contributors rather than passive subjects of research.
In addition to two lectures, the webinar convenes a panel of experts and practitioners of social science research, risk communication, and community engagement, as well as a community representative from the COPE community, to share their experiences on the topic “Community engagement strategies in participatory research: Bridging the expert-lay divide”.
