The CARe project invites you to their upcoming webinar led by Dr Tochi Joy Okwor on Building a Strong National Program on Infection Prevention and Control (IPC): Insights and Lessons from the Turn Nigeria Orange Nigeria’s IPC Strategy.

Dr Tochi Joy Okwor is the Chair of Nigeria’s National AMR Coordinating Committee (AMRCC) and the Coordinator of the National IPC Programme in the country. She has over 18 years of leadership experience in public health and IPC at global, regional, and country levels. She pioneered the institutionalisation of infection prevention and control in Nigeria by establishing the National IPC programme (Turn Nigeria Orange) and also oversaw the creation of Nigeria’s second AMR national action plan (2024-2028).

The webinar will take place on WebEx on 23 October 2024 from 4pm to 5pm (CET).
